I've been working on this for the last year and a few months, and I've finally gotten to a point where I'm proud to show off some pics. It's my tiny (10x14) outbuilding gameroom, that I've named "The Elbow Room Arcade". See, because there's a lack of elbow room in such a small arcade, see? :D Going with the "elbow" theme, I've used plumbing elbows, painted Super Mario green, in various places, and my logo uses a plumbing elbow. Here's a shot of my yard last summer, when this was all just an image in my head -

I did all the work myself, with help from a few freinds. Here's how the same spot looks today -

Okay, okay, here's the important part - the inside! I went with a faux brick paneling that I bought at Lowes. The ceiling is painted flat black, and I have two 4' black lights. The concrete floor was stained with a concrete stain, and I "spattered" various colors of flourescent paint around the floor before putting on a clear topcoat. I also have a cheap black 5x7 rug from Wal-Mart on the floor, and I spattered the paint on it as well, for a ghetto black light carpet.

This is my main power switch - I have two of the switches wired to turn on all of the outlets that the cabs are plugged into, and the other two switches turn on the black lights and my Pac neon and Kong Off marquee.

More pics to come...

This is another custom touch - you can't really see it in the pics, but my son put his handprint in the cement right above this Williams logo (my last name is Williams), so I painted this with some flouescent acrylic paint. It's pretty much invisible until the black lights are turned on.

This is my Elbow Room sign. There's various chips being drawn into the pipe opening on the left, and then classic characters flowing out of the opening on the bottom. I made all of these with perler beads, wow was that tedious! I'm planning on making a bunch more and covering the entire lower wall. Thanks to Riptor for the dead chips!

The space next to the AD had my Defender in it, but it's currently in the garage waiting to be restored. My Sea Wolf will be going in there in a few weeks. I'd like to get a video made and posted, but my camera sucks, lol. Let me know what you guys think. I know it doesn't compare to some on here, and even though it's small, I really enjoy it. And there's always the garage... ;)

Greg, you have officially entered my top ten list for greatest home arcades. Few words can express how cool this little space is.

I wish when I opened my shed it looked like THAT!! BAD A$$ MAN!!!
Love the Mario Bros pipe work on the walls! SWEET! Creative, inventive, and a spectacular use of space!
