So our 2007 Samsung plasma tv has been acting up lately. Will shut off here and there then won't come back on, just start clicking..
Clicking made me think of switching power supply.. Or a blown hot on a k7000
Downloaded a flow chart on this make and model.. Unplugged each cable from the power supply and fired up just the ps.. Worked fine.. So one by one I reconnected each pcb while turning it on and off.
It was a loose connector! Seems as the change in temp, live in a 100+ year old home in New England.. Plus the tv is in front of a window.. Thinking that when it heated and cooled over time that might have loosened it up.. As this tv has sat in the same spot since I bought it..
Anyway.. I have to thank everyone in the hobby whom has helped me with monitor repair.. Because of you I can fix my own stuff and my wife actually thinks I'm pretty cool (today at least) for knowing how to do this shit.
