Scored a Taxi pin and the parts to get my Pinbot working 100%. Just got them situated, fired up and snapped a pic. This was the first time I had been to Allentown and had a great time!

It was a great show! I think I may have walked passed you - did you have the taxi in the back of a pickup? I think you were on the phone when I walked by. Congrats on the pickup!

Yes, that was me! I was telling my buddy I had to go hit an ATM. I didn't count on finding the nicely refurbed Pinbot board after blowing all my cash on the Taxi. He would have crapped if he came out and the truck was gone.

I guess there are worse places to be marooned than at a pinball show! ;)

lol.. yeah i think i seen you too. were you taking pics of the taxi in the back of the truck?? lol.. it was a great time, i got alot of parts for my gorgar and a nice BG to boot!!

I don't even bring a camera to shows because I hate lugging anything around, so no pics of it loaded in the truck, but there went the cash I was gonna use for your Defender if I didn't find a pin! ;)

Congrats!

I got the Rottendog boards for BK, so that's up and running (correctly) again!

Wish I could have seen you there. I had a horrible headache adn was sick, but still had a great time. I was eyeing that Taxi in the flea merket ares :) Now you need a Marilyn translite for it! Glad it works well. You are well on your way to getting a nice System 11 row there!

Nice picture of those 2 together. 2 great System 11 titles. I don't think there's a System 11 I don't like!!!

Enjoy!

Chris

I got that DK mini out in the flea market area, I will post pictures tonight if anyone's interested in seeing it.:D I have to say they where really light on games this year half of what they normally have.

Was that the one that Jersey Jack had? I saw that, but thought it needed too much work for me to be interested. I'd love to see what you do with it!!!

I am really enjoying the Centipede cocktail table I got, as well as the Megatouch.

I thought the amount of stuff was a little less outside, but the inside was just a s good as past years (maybe better). I think the weather had alot to do with that though.

I'm looking for a Marilyn translite and topper for it already. The thing that scares me the most is that the Spinout ramp has never been reproduced. Mine is fine, but they are nearly impossible to get if they crack. I read the last time a bunch of NOS ones were found, they were listed for 200 bucks and sold out in a couple of days.

My game has the wrong plunger setup in it, so you can only get the 1000 point Spinout bonus but I guess the upside to that is the ball isn't hammering the irreplaceable ramp.

We have to meet up there next year... Maybe we can just have a KLOV meetup time at a certain place for anyone interested. Sounds like there were more KLOV'rs there than I expected. I was looking for you and couldn't find you even though I know what you look like and you had the lanyard! By late morning, the pin rows were like the mall at Christmas.

There are two games I'd love to add to the System 11 collection... I think Space Shuttle has to be next. I actually wanted that one before Taxi but the only one I saw listed for Allentown had a deal made before it arrived. Even though its a relatively simple game, I loved it when it was new. High Speed was going to be the other, but I think that has been bumped by Big Guns in the lineup.

I think I may have played BG once before in the wild, but I loved playing the one at Allentown.

I don't think you'll need to worry about it so much in home use. A stronger spring should clear up the plunger issue.

This is a great idea. Like a "KLOV meeting place" or something like that. It got crowded fast, and I did not stay latem, as I had a massive migraine which put a damper on my "funness" level, LOL.

I like most System 11's as I said. The cannon shots in Big Guns are great, and I really like the sounds. Space Shuttle is actually a System 9 machine but is a great machine. Space Station is System 11, and while often overlooked, is a great machine. What you REALLY need is the Bride of Pinbot to go with the original ;)

We need to get together for game night sometime soon :)

Enjoy the games!

Holy crap, I hadn't noticed! Space Shuttle is an older game than I thought! Thanks for the heads up. I keep hearing Bride Of Pinbot is great. I think its kind of creepy looking with the chrome hair and mouth made for balls, but I've never played it. LOL.

Definitely on the game night! The way I'm doing my gameroom is so stupid. I got it like 80-90%% done... Floor, walls, got games moved in, then started other projects and didn't do the trim. Then I tore it all apart again and added central air (whole house).

I just keep getting it almost complete, then start something else and either let crap slide or tear it apart again to add stuff. I suppose it's presentable, but I always feel like its not quite there for company. Wait, you had the flood. Maybe I should just shut up!

Your Moon War appears to be on the fritz again (garbage displayed, but not like before), so that should make you happy! Hah!

Well I haven't done anything with it yet but put it in the garage. I might not be doing anything with it for a month yet because the night I got back from pinfest I broke my middle finger on my left hand.

Anyone know if they make a reproduction sticker for the front? I know they dont make the brown flat T-molding.
