Well it was bound to happen someday and it has. My Airwolf game died. I did all the usual stuff, checked power supply voltages and their spot on. Removed the boards and pulled all the socketed chips, cleaned the legs and re installed with no change. Their's not many socketed chips. The game has 2 Z80's which are both soldered on the board and all but 2 of the ROMs are also soldered to the board. The board also has a twist in it because of how they screwed it into the cabinet with wood screws which was also about the only thing holding the boards apart. I posted a few pictures below. The game puts garbage on the screen. Anyone have any ideas? I might be better off just finding a new board sense their not a hi dollar board. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

This is strange, I have 2 board sets and both did the same exact thing that you are displaying. I am a fan of the show and miss playing it. BTW, have you ever played Twin Eagle? I swear it is a copy of Airwolf, same type of helicopter, some of the sounds are the same as the show, the overall theme is similar to the show. Let me know if you come up with anything, I might mess with mine tonight.

Do you have a logic probe? I would certainly check all voltages first, then star looking for clock activity and appropriate pulses on the z80s at startup.

All voltages are correct so I'll break out the logic probe and poke around a little. I had a Pac-Man that had similar garbage on the screen and it was a bad Z 80 so I'll start their. This board has 2 Z80's close together and nether are socketed. If they seem bad I could pull them out and install sockets and couple new Z80's. I guess they didn't believe in IC sockets because only 2 of the ROMs have sockets on the top board and no sockets on the bottom board and their's maybe 8 ROMs on it, didn't do an exact count, maybe more or less.:)
