My $6500 CL Star Wars Cockpit :)

Sounded like he may flip it, so purchase cost might be sensitive. But then again, the deal isn't what's for sale, the game is. If I get a good deal on a nice machine, I'm going to get what I want for the machine. I have to pay for my collection somehow! I sold my $14 working Outrun for $235, and it was still a good deal to the buyer at that. The buyer even knew what I had in it!!

...

Well I already have a Star Wars cockpit, I picked up the second one so I can upgrade mine then sell/trade the other. Only reason why I picked it up.

The game itself is in solid B condition, but I have a few things to do to it to finish it before getting rid of it.

If I had the room I would keep both, put an Empire Strikes Back in one and keep the other as a Star Wars.

Yeah! CO weather is pretty darn nice, but I do like PA. CA actually seems to have the most of the cool old games and nice weather most of the time, but I wouldn't want to live there. Too expensive and too liberal for my liking, however some people find that attractive. However I must say I have been to Provincetown MA to go whale watching back in high school and that place is about as liberal as you can get!!!! Not sure about the rest of MA. :)

Well, I have been getting a little bored of MA and I am rather jealous of the dynamic duo out there. Plus I hear the weather is fab.

Ampliphone ?
AmpliFone:D

Congrats on that find....and a spare Amplifone...man finding one with an Amplifone in there is already pretty rare....

Since it's still working I wonder what flyback is in there...

I fully understand that you don't publish the price you paid, I won't mention it either. I was lucky though. Very very very lucky. Not just to find one here in my own country, but also with the price :D

If you don't post the purchase price, then who cares about this thread. The only exception is if you find an extremely rare game and post detailed pics and a cool backstory.(aka sundance). Otherwise, picking up a star wars cockpit is no big whoop. I could pick one up tomorrow if I was willing to pay $2500-$3000 for it. It serves no purpose to leave out such an important element of the story. I'm going to assume you paid way too much and are a little embarassed. Lie to the wife about that sort of stuff, not your fellow kover's. Just my opinion.

I sold a mini standup Outrun for $650 last year here.

Yeah that's a bit rough. Even though I like seeing prices, because I think it helps the community understand value better, I am still interested in the thread, because I like to join in with others being happy for another KLOVer who gets a great game for any price.

I would be happy for him getting a great game if he was willing to share all the details. Its like reading a book that is missing the final chapter.
