I posted a vid a few months ago of Sam playing Food Fight so I figured I would post this one, too. Kid is pretty freaking decent for being 2 (he can pass the first coconut board for petes sake!). I expect my high scores to all be wiped out in a few short years. He LOVES these games, and it makes me happy :)

Awesome. The best part of our kids loving and playing these games, is they actually get to grow up with them, just like many of us did. That will help them get into this hobby when it's time for their nostalgia trip. You saw my son playing Gorf in the pics I posted. He went through 38 credits in a row, just to get the Robot to laugh at him. "Dadadada, some Galactic defender you are". He laughed and yelled for me every time. Love it.

I love that my nephews and grandson play the games. I know the machines will get a lot of use.

jow, you are so lucky to have a cool kid like sam. the way he's going, he's probably gonna be in college when he should be in high school. you should seriously bring him to cax. teach him to be really good at warlords and then put him down on it during the money games. get a good college fund going that way.

He's awesome at ZK...wow. Where's the ZK audio...crank that sucka. That's half the fun of that game.

Ha, the only reason the games are turned down so low is because they share a wall with the boys room. Much of my gaming time is after they are in bed and the last thing I need is for Sam to wake up and want to play :)

Thanks for the kind words, guys. He really does make all these games fun :)

VERY COOL! I just played Two Tigers, Star Wars and Warlords (CT) with my 6 yr old. He also really digs food fight. Good times!!

Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see someone create happy memories with an arcade machines.

Yeah, I wonder if he will have memories from this time? I dont have memories from when I was 2, but I guess you never know.

What was his final high score? He raced up that coconut stage like it was nothing.

26,200 I think? That or 25,200. He's actually passed that stage he ended at before. Awesome :)

That's pretty crazy Jow. If I didn't know any better I'd swear he was leaving the wall open at times to group :)

You should learn him the coconut board trick where if you hold right + jump button down right at the start, you can get up 3 levels every time, then it's only a few more jumps to the top. That works on every coconut board, even the invisible ones.

Haha, Im pretty sure he is. He watches me play, and well, I try and play exactly how I watched your vids. I dont think he knows he's doing it, but he is, lol. Kids are freaking parrots man. They repeat anything they see/hear.

I'll have to see if I can show him the coconut board trick.

Awesome, Jow! I have two daughters and they want nothing to do with these games. I live a sad lonely existence. Thanks for rubbing it in. :( ;)

He hasn't known any different so I think it was easy for me :) Do you daughters play console games at all?

Very cool jow! Getting our kids involved with the classics is a great thing.

My kids love just being down in my arcade. They love playing the games as well....

That's really something, he tore through that board! My own sons started playing around the same age, I hope those memories stay with them.
