Picked this up from dead row at the last auction. A Karate Champ in a Gremlin cab. Game was dead when I plugged it in there. Got it home, put in a known working switcher, nothing. Cranked up the 5V, game now plays blind. The Burn free G07-CFO needs a rebuild as it is currently dead, but the game board seems to be working, as are the controls and marquee light. Now to figure out what to do with it. It's got a weird coin door with Asahi-Seiko looking mechs. They have a peculiar quarter guard around the coin switch that must be moved out of the way before you can flick it. Anyone know what Gremlin cab this might have been? It has a weird bezel and there are star field graphics in the shroud area, similar to a Gorf cabinet. Check out the 'Important Note' in the last pic. I wish that was the fix for all of my games.

Best fighting game ever. Interesting marquee, too.

I picked up this one in trade for repair help a few months ago. Works great!

I want a KC, too.

Damn you, Phet. Damn you!

Nice Mang, but I'd make that an Astro Fighter and put it in the Outer Limits! For $10 in, what do ya have to lose?

Get a real Karate Champ in the correct cabinet:

You should be able to find one for $250 or less...

I wonder if that's the original version? I notice it only has 2 sticks. The original one wasn't VS so you couldn't play head to head against another person.

Nice score! I had a chance to get an original 2-player one a while back at a warehouse a few miles out of town but I only had enough cash with me to get the games I came for.
