My 1,000th post

5256, probably 5257 now. Been on this board forever. I've had a couple of different User IDs over the years. I originally joined sometime in late '99 or early 2000. It was before getting my first game. This is where I learned to work on games. Then I ended up doing it for a living for 4 years. Yay KLOV! At any rate, I would not be surprised if I have over 10K posts under my belt.

Oregon, I remember you changing your name, but what was it?

It had something to do with where I worked at the time. Score One Games was the name of the company. I think that ScoreOne was the user ID. Not sure, it was 8 years ago, after all. I changed it after that job, when I moved to Oregon. Never changed it after I moved back, though.

Yeah that was it. You were ScoreOne and our longtime subtle troll was Player One.

Wasn't Score One in Holdrege Ne.?

I've bought a few things from that guy, but its been years ago. What years did you work there?

I've been posting for 6 years and still haven't hit 2000 posts. Maybe by 2014?

I miss PlayerOne. Sorta wish Mongo were still around and Lomotil was more active.

But, you know, whole board seems to be less active lately. :/

I remember my 1000th. Wasn't too long ago. Now I'm pushing 5K.

Thank goodness I've gotten a helluva lot more efficient at work.

Yeah, Score One Games was located in Holdrege, NE. Chris sold his building several years ago and built another building on his farm so that he could use one of the older ones for pins and vids (mostly pins). I haven't seen or talked to Chris in years. I worked for him from 2002 to 2004. I fixed vids and pins, shopped pins, e-bayed, handled pick ups and shipping. I did pretty much everything including sweeping the floor. Most of the time it was just me and one other guy and I was able to work autonomously, Chris would pop in occasionally to let me know what I needed to work on next. Best job I have ever had. Of course, I would be able to cherry pick games occasionally as well.

I just checked the old website www.scoreonegames.com. Its still there but hasn't been updated in 3 years, so I don't know if Chris is still selling games or just farming.

Yes, Player One was our longtime troll but let's not forget Leslie M. Collins. TBBK, Mongo, and I are probably the only ones here from that time. Crazy stuff.

My apologies to texasmame for totally jacking your thread.
