Really stumped on this one.
I am working with a 4 slot Neo Geo MVS, and I was able to fix numerous problems on my own...but the one that eludes me, is that the first slot of my MVS board specifically is having graphical issues.
They are minor. I like to call it crackling, or snow; white pixels that pop up intermententlly all around, on different areas of the screen. Very harmless and hardly distracting, however I am hoping it is not indicitave of a bigger problem, so I thought I would ask.
The test screen and splash screen does the same thing if the MVS decides to boot up from the 1st slot. But if you switch game to another slot and then go into test mode, it's fine. So I am pretty sure it's a problem with the first slot specifically.
ANY suggestions would be fantastic. It has nothing to do with the connectors, as they have been thoroughly cleaned, so I'm not sure what it causing the issue here.
Thanks
