I had a friend send me this link today and I figured it was worth a post, http://www.15kop.ru/en/ It sounds like they may have reverse engineered a couple of popular US games to make some of these.

If anyone is visiting Moscow anytime soon I would like to see pictures of these games in action!

Here is another article about it: http://kotaku.com/5299124/soviet+era-arcade-museum-opens-in-russia

The first four games on the website are playable as Flash applets, and it looks like the rest will be eventually as well. Just click on the game cabinet to get to that game's page, then either click the coin or the start button on the coin slot.

Very nicely done site with lots of top quality photos, too bad there isn't an English version.

As a side note, the web site was made by Art Lebedev Studio, the same guys who designed the Optimus Maximus keyboard (the keyboard with an OLED display for each key).

Yeah, someone posted this link over at Digitpress today. I played the red upright/cocktail. You have to throw a spinning stick at a box of shapes, is the best way to describe gameplay. Very primitive. Wish there was some info in English about these cabs.

Some of them are so ugly, that they're awesome.
