Ok, even after reading the reviews I decided I'd give the MultiJAMMA 6 in 1 board a try. It seems like I got lucky, as all my slots seem to be working. Now, I do need help on this. I intend on adding the games NBA Jam, NBA Max Hangtime, NHL Open Ice, NFL Blitz, TMNT, and Simpsons to this cab. Ass you can tell, all 4-player games. So, how do I go about adding the players 3/4 for each game using this board? I am not sure how'd I do it. I am using the 6 in 1 switcher from jammaboards.com if that matters...

I may be wrong, but my guess would be to wire each kick harness from each board up to their respective controls all at the same time so each would function as normal when you switched channels for each game.

I'm sure you already know this, but the actual JAMMA connectors on each board only support players 1 & 2 with 3 buttons each....to obtain additional buttons, manufacturers use interfaces directly on the PCB called kick harnesses for additional buttons and players. I.E. TMNT should have 2 sub harnesses that interface into for players 3 and 4 and their coin mechs...the same should be true of the rest of your boards. Again, if you manually wire each PCB's sub harnesses up together at their respective controls, I assume it should accomplish what you are trying to do :)

I heard that if you do not diodes installed on all the wires, it would cause interference? Not sure if this would be the case though as none of the other boards are actually powered on at the time...

I'd think if the other boards are not powered at the same time you shouldn't have interference. Also, as controls aren't powered, it should be ok....maybe someone here more familiar with this setup could give their .02 :)

I've had multiple kick harnesses hooked up in my cabinet before without issues. (Only one board powered on at a time) I'm not using a multijamma but it would be the same idea.

The risk of not using diodes in the wires is that the buttons MAY detect ghost grounds to the power side of the off boards.

It just depends on the boards you are running.
