I am an extreme noobie here. I have an upright Centipede cabinet...all original parts. I think my PCB needs to be replaced. I am fully prepared to replace the PCB, but before I do, I was wondering if there is a multi-game PCB that I can install in my existing Centipede cabinet for use with the trackball and 1 button? Are there other games that play in this cabinet with the trackball and 1 button (Millipede, Arkanoid, etc.)? I just want to slide a multi-game PCB (Non-Jamma, I think) in the cabinet and play. I don't want to do any modifications. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Millipede board, with centipede to millipede adapter, then buy the Braze Multipede kit. I have the kit installed on my Millipede board and it is one of the best no-nonsense multi's out there. You only get Milli and Centi, but that's all you need.

Thanks a bunch...good enough for now. I'll try and tackle a bigger project in the future as I learn more.

Hey Phet, do you actually play both games enough to warrant the cost of the multipede board? I guess what I am asking is: do you play centipede regularly, or do you mostly stick with Millipede.

OP, even if you could easily get a xx-in-1 board in the cab easily, I don't think it would be worth it. I just looked at a game list (not sure if they are all the same), and it only had 4 trackball games...kinda. Centipede and Millipede are the trackball games. Arkanoid and Super Breakout are listed, but they actually used a a spinner.

Yeah, probably not worth it...I love Centipede just for recreation...I'll probably get a replacement Centipede board and stick with that...just thought maybe there were a few more games for the trackball:

Side note: I'd be willing to add a full blown dual joystick/trackball/multi-button control console?? if the old style Centipede cabinet could handle it, but I'm not up on the Jamma boards (48-1, 60-1, etc.) and how to add them to my existing cabinet. Does anybody know, specifically, how the new PCB's integrate with an old cabinet? should I just get a newer style cabinet if I want a bunch of games?

I have mine boot to Centipede, which I play far more often, but when I wanna up the excitement, I switch over to Millipede. My favorite is Centi, my Sister loves Milli. So for me, they both get played enough that I am happy I have the kit. I don't think I could live without it now.

I have heard this kit slightly screws up the colors of the centipede. Now that would be fine if the millipede was the one affected, but I wouldn't mess around with my 'pede....centi that is.
