I have a multicade that won't boot past this screen. Any advice or help you can offer would be great. Thanks!

another pic of the game. The one on the left is the multicade.

The game on the right (NFL/NBA) worked great until I moved it and now the monitor is scrolling a white screen and has a constant high pitched whine.

These games can be so temperamental sometimes.

edit: not sure why the website turned my pic sideways. Sorry.

the game on the left is a mortal kombat II... that somebody ruined.

The motherboard battery has possibly died, or at least it came loose when moved and lost its bios settings...

Turn off machine, unplug
Find the motherboard inside
Plug in a usb or ps/2 keyboard depending on which port you have on the motherboard
Turn back on machine, press f2 and it will probably work
Better to press F1 and re set the time correctly
I'd change out the bios battery, probably a cr2032

I don't think so. the game closest to the wall was a golf game that someone converted to a multicade. If you enlarge the photo you can see the trac ball and the buttons.

Can you get to the BIOS ? Sometimes a failed hard drive can cause this :(

These games have been sitting around for years so I am guessing the battery is dead. I will replace tomorrow and let you guys know. Thanks again for the advice.

I have a war gods arcade that when turned on ALWAYS reverts to FULL VOLUME. I can reset it fine but when I restart the game it goes back to full volume. Would this also be a battery issue?

this worked like a charm thank you.

Next question... this game only has 16 games and they're pretty much all horrible except for centipede.

Is there a way to update the hard drive to get the better games like pac man, donkey kong, defender, dig dug etc etc etc?
