So recently picked up a Sky Soldiers in a Pac cab. Its a nice conversion just needs to be cleaned and maybe capped but here is my question. There are two joysticks with two buttons per player. Once I get my 60-1 would you leave it with two joysticks or would you maybe get a new CP and make it so a trackball could be put in. Not sure which way I want to go with it. Not sure if I would play more 2 players or more track ball games.

Yeah and I think there are only a couple of trackball games. I do like centipede/milli somewhat and it will be much easier with a ball.

If you want, you can get an Arcadeshop CP with trackball hole for the Pac cabinet, then swap the two easily with two snaps and a connector.

Arkanoid and Breakout are also easier to play with the trackball than the joystick...

Centipede/Millipede BLOW with the joystick, I know I have the 48 in 1... but have a Centipede with Millipede and adapter too.

I'm guessing Centi/Milli will get more play than 1942/1943 with two players, thats what I think it boils down to.

Actually I did see that. They even have the whole thing ready to go in but its $195. I may end up getting the one you are talking about and putting it together myself so I can put the joystick in that I want.

Yeah, I figured out long ago that the cost of the individual parts is cheaper than the completed unit. Doesn't take that long to put it together. Just make sure you get the right trackball, or it won't work....
