Multicade 9-in-1 info anyone?

Wondering if anyone knows much about the older 9-in-1's? How are they compared to the 48's? Can you set them up and change options the same, do they emulate just as well? Anyone know where I can find a manual online? Im debating on getting one. Any advice would be awesome.

The 9-in-1's have been out of production for a long time now. The closest manual is this:

So are they pretty much the same board, just with only 9 games? I'm mainly interested in knowing whether or not you can change Pacs to slow/fast and if you can change Galaga to slow/rapid fire. Also would like to know if theres any emulation issues in comparison. Ive heard some of the older boards had sound issues.

Yes the 9-in-1's can change the pacs and galagas to fast slow, etc by setting the software dipswitches in the test menu.

The 3, 6, 9, 39 all evolved into the 48 and 60 in 1's. They all came from the same Chinese factories. All program the same way. The 3's did have some playability problems with microswitched joysticks, but if you used a leaf switch joystick it's fine. All later boards starting with the 9's work fine with either microswitched joysticks or leafs.

A friend has a couple of 9's on his route.
