We treated ourselves to the Multicade 39 in 1 game for Christmas. The book that came with it lists how to customize the games to a certain extent. We're having a problem with it keeping a high score, and I'd like to find a manual that shows tips on playing the games. Any help?

If this is the same 39 in 1 multijamma board. That says "game never over" at the top, well there is a dip switch setting on the pcb (small one with 4 switches, one of those switchs must be enabled to allow High Score saving. It only saves the highest score, numbers only, it don't save the name unfortunly. I'm not even certain if were talking about the same pcb, since I always called it multijamma and not multicade.

If its one of the "Game Never Ends" boards its either switch 1 or 3. One is high score save, the other flips the video. I just can not recall which is which. The video will be obvious!!

If High Score save is on then when you go into setup (boot with the test switch closed) you will get a new screen toward the front, I think just after the test pattern, when you can clear the high scores.

Forgot I had a 39 in 1 "Game Never Ends" manual with me.

1 is Screen orientation. Off Normal, on flip
2 is Display mode. Off CGA, on VGA
3 is High Score Saver Off is off, On is on.
4 is not used

Yes it's the one called "Game Never Over". I will try to poke around and get that to save the score.

Any ideas on a manual that give tips on playing the games for this model?

The only manual that comes with the board is the setup/dipswitch manual. There is no "playing tips" manual. For that go to the used bookstores and look for some of the old playing tips books for the particular games you're interested in.

Tips? On the shooting games shoot the enemies, and try and not get shot yourself. On the Pac-Man's collect dots and avoid the ghosts. What kind of tips do you want? These games are very Simple.

you could go to the reg. klov.com and print every games play tips page
