To everybody buying the jrok Multi-Williams: Are all of you using it strictly as a Multi, or are some of you running a dedicated 1-game cabinet with it?

Just curious.

I bought 3 of them and am using them purely as pcb replacements for my dedicated Robotron, Joust and Stargate. With the adapter, there's no cutting of wires and I can have it back to stock in a couple of minutes.
No way I'm going to multi my dedicated cabs.

I bought two of them... One for a multi game and one in case my Defender ever becomes too much of a burden to keep running. I think I have the original boards pretty well bullet proofed, but there is just so much to go wrong with them with the flaky ribbon cables and all the separate boards... Nice to have the new board as a fallback.

One is running my Robotron dedicated for a while, but it'll go back to original. Still deciding, but likely to do one full multi, and one as a Stargate/Defender only.

If I didn't have original hardware in some of these already, and a bizarre desire to repair broken stuff, I'd be better off running JROKs for my dedicated cabs, I'm sure.

I have a full set of boards on the way for my Robotron but nothing for my Joust yet...it's tempting! I have a 19n1 in the Robotron just for fun, and it sucks!

All of mine are backups for dedicated machines, except for one that I use in jamma cabs occasionally at work for Robotron and Joust.

I have one running as a multi. One is going into a dedicated Robotron cabinet that I bought gutted.

Mine's in my Neo-Geo cab via a JammaBoards MVS to JAMMA adaptor. Once I get a JAMMA cab set up, it will rotate into there.

Mine is still sitting on my desk since I have no cab to put it in. I am going to see if there is room to put Robotron sticks in between the defender/ stargate controls on a panel. I am not willing to share joysticks to have all of the games available, so it may just be Robotron when I get to it.

I am also considering using it in the MAME setup to take advantage of the panels I already have for those games.

Still need one...

I still need one. As soon as some are ready to sell I am ready to buy. (PM sent the other day)
Mine will be dedicated Robotron but I like the option of other games just in case.

Is there another batch on the way?

Is JROK out of this batch yet? I didn't notice him saying so yet.

I bought 2.
One for a dedicated Defender (homemade mini).

and decided to stick the other in a "super mini" for garage use to sit near my workbench. Still a work in progress. The core module can be pulled out for portability such as a laptop/mame to take along on car trips/boring hotel stays.

I figure the JROK is so convenient and easy why not have fun with it.
