Multi Williams Marquee

I may be able to get a small batch of defender cab sized ones made.. is there interest in those?

I dont have a defender so I dont know the exact dimensions yet, Might fit a bubbles or Duramold.. not sure.

I am not sure o the dimension of a bubbles cab. The marquees are
7.5" H x 24 3/8" W

I'll measure my Bubbles cab tonight. It's closer to the Robotron and Moon Patrol width. Not as wide as Joust. I'll check.

my sinistar is the same width as your bubbles... iirc it's 22 7/8" x 7 1/2".

I would like a marquee for my Robotron cabinet. Are we waiting to purchase when the site goes up or do we need to reserve one in this thread?

Do you want the measurements for a Duramold?
I can measure if you'd like. (It's in storage or I would do it right now).

No need to reserve anything I have plenty.. just got word from Rich the Bezels are shipping so soon....

If the duramold is handy.. it couldn't hurt to get the measurements. Dont go out of your way though.

unfortunatly the duramold marquee is too small for these MW films

the duramold marquee measures 5 3/4" x 21 5/8"

and as cool as a MW duramold would be I wouldnt think theyd be enough demand
to warrant a screened custom run for that one size
unless someone made a repro cab.

Rich, how about a MW marquee to fit a standard Bubbles upright? DO WANT.

I checked the measurement for that width and the 22 7/8 is exactly
the distance from each logo on the top defender to stargate.
so would acutally cut into a little of each of those logos
too bad this wasnt taken into consideration when Phoenix did this art intially
so the marquees couldve been cut down to fit the bubbles or sini cabs

but if we move forward on a run for my Defender cab version marquee
I could take these dimensions into account and make it so there would be room to cut it down to fit those, which is proably the best option. same for MP

Seriously, I don't even really like it... it looks stupid... but I guess I'll just bust out my trusty ink jet printer since all you perfectionists are gonna insist on freezing us Duramold owners out.

If the defender style were made for a defender cab.. would you have any issues cutting it down yourself for the bubbles or duramold?

Making them in multiple sizes may be not cost effective.

I'd happily cut mine down. That's what I did with the Robotron (REPRO) marquee that is filling the hole.

Shouldnt be an issue.. just us a table saw with a good fine tooth blade, some paper down protecting the plastic from
scratches and you should be able to get a nice clean cut. I used to cut plexi all the time on my table saw.
Oh an you will want to put tape over the cut line.. it will help get a finer cut. Practice on some scrap plexi first.
I cut down a star trek marquee to fit my asteroids cab that was converted into a star trek.

To get a clean cut every time without cracking, use a flush trim bit on a router.

Yea they are coming soon.. just waiting for the bezels to ship to me. I'd like both to be avaliable before I open it up for sale.. that way it minimizes
shipping for folks who want a bezel and marquee.

Plus I have to wrap up a few more fedex and CC merchant account issues. Both are in place I just need to finish testing. It cant happen soon enough for me

If you guys have the setup, it'd be better for us to have them pre-cut. I'd pay a little extra. I don't have a table saw.
