Since we're on this Multi Wiliams kick *heh* I wanted to get ideas and opinions on something from the community.
Not so long ago I restored a Robotron and made it a Jrok MW. Sadly some where along the way someone scraped away the artwork on the bezel in order to add an instruction card for the game it had been converted to. Well I removed the card and was left with two holes in the bezel staring me in the face. I came up with the idea of a custom instruction cards for my Multi Williams and contacted my good friend Todd at Arcadeoverlays.com. I pitched my idea and the my idea for BOTH an instruction card for the normal Williams place holder and to fill the blank space at the bottom. The idea was to also include using back lightable material. Within an hour I had a response from Todd with a rough draw of the instruction card! Wow... was all I could say! He sent them to me for free!

Sadly my bezel is not worthy to have these on it ;) As you can see from the pictures my bezel is pretty hosed. BTW the flash really alters the blue - it's darker than it appears in the pictures.
I have yet to add the lights behind these instruction cards as I'm waiting for the parts. But you guys should be able to use your imaginations and see how this would look when back lit.

SO .... I wanted to ask you people - If you could purchase a new MW bezel (which BTW has all together new artwork), would you:
1.) Typical solid one piece artwork with standard one spot for an instruction card
2.) A bezel with TWO blank spots for custom instruction cards like mine?
I see the back lit instruction cards to be VERY useful in a dark environment.
Most people have no clue how to play a game let alone return to the main menu.

I'd take #2 with both holes as long as I could aquire those cutom instruction cards, of course. And the bezel would need to fit a Stargate cab.

The custom instruction cards would certainly be obtainable. Is a Stargate bezel different dimensions than say a Joust or Robotron?
And a morning BUMP ***
C'mon people plenty of MW enthusiasts - get some ideas going here.

nice idea on having it backlit though might be somewhat distracting .
I was planning on doing a custom sized one for my defender bezel anyways
but do people playing really read those things or just start pushing buttons :D

I never knew you could throw food in Bubbles. I guess I should have read the instructions :D

Seriously, B=back lit instruction cards seem like a great idea, how are you planning on mounting the light?

I think that Bubbles instruction is incorrect...it matches up with the Splat! instructions. Bubbles only uses one stick and it's crumbs you throw, not food.
