Multi-Williams CP Phoenix Arcade Style - Can we put a run of these together?

I dont have an interest in making the panels again, but if someone wants to take on a run of 50 or more I can get you in touch with the person who made them for me back in the day.

Email me at [email protected]

I am down for 1... Can we get a count? Hell I would buy 2 or 3 if needed!

My god... That would be kick ass! I am tired of being tired of waiting.

A wood control panel would be the finial touch on my jrok. I have been waiting a very long time to get this part of my machine finished.

I gave up trying to make my own. I cannot seem to get every button or the joysticks centered so everything will line up with the cpo. So this is off or that is off, ok refill and drill again. Then it is off the other way err. I mean damn what a pain.

I refuse to put this hacked pos on my machine.

Rock on bro... god I hope these get done!

It is impossible to use the Phoenix MW CPO on a wood CP using leaf switches.
If you want to use leaf switches you'll need to either make a metal one with basically a 90 degree bend or a wood one out of thinner material "which will then throw your joystick depth off. Here's what I decided to do - view post #3 pics:

The ONLY problem with this setup is one of the P1 Joystick leafs sticks protrudes ~ 1/4" and hits the glass support so you can;t latch the CP. You simply shorten that support piece and it's a done deal. Well after the fact I had run into a posting on another site where people were discussing the exact same issue and they all did what I did lol.

A while back Rikitiki and I had talked about it's time for a new style MW CPO. We both agree the Phoenix version looks like a ketchup and mustard mess. If we get enough interest I'm sure he'd oblige.

So... I took Darin up on his offer and contacted him to get the name and info for the guy who made the panels for him. Once I get the particulars and can get an idea of the cost structure I will make a new thread and start getting commitments for orders. I just sent the guy an email so the ball is rolling, but lets be patient and see if he even wants to make them again.

I am still going to try to make a batch of wood ones since the ball is already rolling (at least a couple will be made for me).

If you guys are going to get this going please keep me in the loop. I would hate to make a run of Phoenix Arcade panels just to be stuck with them. If you guys end up making new art I may be interested in make a batch of panels to go along with them (assuming I can hammer out the details with Darin's guy).

I just got an email from the guy who made the metal PA panels years ago:

"I don't have the panels anymore or drawings . . . last time I made these was quite a while ago. I would need a blank panel to get drawings from to start this process then I can get you prices . . ."

Anyone have a panel that they would be willing to loan to this guy or just sell to me and then I will ship to him?

Worst case, I will send him a wood one and we can get the design from there.

Mw cps

I started to make some from the Origional specs. I have made a Prototype that is exactly like the origional. I have had an equipment failure that will not allow me to make these until I find the correct replacement parts or a new machine. Someone contacted me recently wanting to take over and I said that would be great. Just let me know how to help. The guy that did the origionals (from the info I got from the person wanting to take over) Said he could make some from my prototype. I offered to ship it to him or take it there myself to talk to him but I have not heard back. The Fabricator that made these for PA is not that far from me. If someone want to take the orders and do most of the leg work, I will help any way I can.

Well, it sounds like this project is going to happen. I had several emails with Darin and the guy who made the panels for him. Darin informed me that another KLOVer was also looking to get these done. I contacted that person and after chatting with him for awhile I decided to bow out and let him run with it. Darin said he had a panel that will be used as a model for the new batch.

The KLOVer told me that he was going to start a new thread gauging interest and or taking orders. Sounds like we need to get at least 50 to make this happen. I know I am in for four of them.
