What options do I have as far as a multi-pac kit is concerned? It would be going in a Pac cab that currently has Pac Plus...

I'd REALLY like high score saving if possible.

Thanks!

Yep, theres so many of them. But heres a list of the most commonly seen:

4-in-1, a simple hack of the mainboard and the most cost effective. No high score saves though.

6-Pac, Mark Spaeth's kit, but he dosent always have it in stock.

96-in-1, Mike Doyle's kit, Ive heard good things about this one and its the only kit I've personally seen in action. But again, not always available.

There are a few different 24-in-1 kits, the most common one is from two bits. Ive heard good things about it as well, but the price tag is a killer.

Theres also the option of buying a Multicade PCB and JAMMA adapter, that way you get 5 of the Pac's plus 43 other games. Its one of the cheaper ways to do it and the parts are always available, and it also saves the top score (but only the top score). Check my YouTube channel below for a demonstration of that one in a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet.

There is aboslutely no question about the BEST multi pac out there. Mike Doyles 96-1 is superior in every way.
I've owned Lizardlicks 24-1 which was nice but no HS saving.

Anyone know where a Mike Doyle's 96-in-1 multi-pac can be had? I assume that one saves HS?

Hell yes it has HS - 10 slots per game! There are a few games such as Super Pac that require you to coin it up old school and don;t have HS capability but it's only a VERY small handful of games that act this way. Seriously I am thrilled to death with mine.

Oh and the original attract mode is also a bonus IMO

It also has Pengo !!

That alone makes it the best .

I don't remember how much I paid .

There's also Clay's 24-in-1 that has Lizzard Wizard and Crush Roller that make it nice, but a lot of crappy graphic hacks that makes it less valuable.

There's a 11-in-1 from a guy in Canada that has correct color Proms for PacPlus

There is the ABC multi from 2bits.

There was a 8 or 16 or even 27-in-1 that was frequently on ebay about 5 years ago IIRC.

There is a 4 way hack with menu, rather than dip switches that is available for free online if you burn it yourself.

The best however is the 96 in 1 or the MadPac. Pengo and high scores with names make that the best one. The 96 however doesn't have a color PROM so PacPlus doesnt quite look right. MadPac I think addressed that.
