Multi-Jamma solution for the Konami 4-player beat-em-ups?

I just purchased a Simpsons cab with the intention of installing a multi-jamma switch for the rest of the Konami 4-player family (TMNT, TMNT TIT, Sunset Riders, X-Men).

I understand that the Simpsons cab is wired for stereo while some of the others are not, which is why I chose it.

There seems to be several 6-in-1 solutions but they apparently don't support 4-player games. This is the response I got to my inquiry on jammaboards.com:

The 6-in-1 switcher PCB is only designed for standard 2-player type JAMMA games. It would not directly work well with switching between 4-player games. You could use diodes between all the 3rd/4th player connections but it is just extra work to do. The sound would still have to directly connect to the Simpsons motherboard as it could not go through the JAMMA harness...but the other games you connect to the switcher would still work through the 6-in-1 switcher.

Anybody know where I go from here?

Not really sure what you are asking. If you are wanting all the games to be in stereo, there's no real viable option as not all the games are set up for that option. Most standard Jamma harnesses just have a "spkr + and and spkr -." There's not REAL stereo unless it's wired in manually...in my experience. From a simple compatibility stand point, the switcher will support ANY Jamma game. I put NBA Jam, NBA Hangtime, NBA Maximum Hangtime, Rampage World Tour, TMNT, and X-Men in my 4-player NBA Jam, which I later changed out to X-Men, TMNT, Simpsons, Maximum Hangtime, and NBA Jam with no issues using a 6-in-1 switcher. You will have to buy additional 3/4 player harnesses for all games that you intend to play and wire the, up together with some diodes (refer to 1:45 of the video below). Here is my project...

...and my video tutorial on splicing the player 3/4 harnesses together....

Disclosure: I do not have my Simpsons cab yet, but will soon.

Further research indicates from this thread that most if not all the Konami beat-em-ups are stereo with a dedicated stereo harness EXCEPT TMNT which uses the standard JAMMA harness. However the Simpsons cab JAMMA harness does not include sound wires.

So it seems like I need to do 2 things:

1. It would seem that I can use the same diode procedure for chaining the stereo harnesses together. True or False? Would I need diodes for sound? Where would I find extra harnesses?

2. I would need to install sound wires into the JAMMA harness and add it to the chain (just mono of course). True or False?
