This has probably been discussed, and I searched through 2 or 3 pages for this and did not see anything, so if this post is just a repost, please direct me where I should be looking.

Basically, I am going to build a cab for one of my friends, and he found out about multi-boards. What are some good ones in the 100-150 range that have a good range of games on there (Capcom fighter on through whatever)?

The only reason why I am asking is because the only place that I know of to get these is through jammaboards.com, and some of them have reviews saying that they have a high failure rate.

The Blue Elf 108-in-1 wasn't too bad for the price. I built one strictly for sale, and found that some of the games played pretty choppy on it, but overall most the stuff worked great. It's a good little board if you want most things 1992-on.

Check out threads by user "Nixs" on here. ;)

There is also the Babystar which I've heard some good feedback on. However, if you're just making it for a friend- why not just run a modded xbox? You'll be able to run alot more games in that cab than any of the $130-$160 multiboards and it'll cost you a fraction of the price of a beefy PC.

The Icade 60-in-1's aren't bad as far a graphics and gameplay, although the sound is pretty bad on a few of the games. Why they haven't fixed the problem is beyond me because otherwise they'd fly off the shelves, as it is they do pretty good for their $75 - $125 range.

I noticed Jammaboards.com isn't selling them anymore, is there perhaps a newer and hopefully improved version coming out? :D <hopeful>

I was just trying to track down halfway cheap ones that I can just plug into a jamma harness. That is why I was going to go this route instead of MAME. I am going to check out the stuff you guys pointed me in the direction of
