Multi Exidy

sooo you want 100.00 more then the accual price that was 350.00?? Just out of curiosity, why 100.00 more?

What something sold for before has absolutely no bearing what so ever on what it might sell for now. Do you ask why sell a Pac Man game now for $400 when they originally sold for $2,500?

This is another example why I don't tell people what I buy things for, either when they are cheap or expensive. "Oh you got that Asteroids board for $10? I'll give you $20, you're still making double" (and they're serious). Much easier for me to sell that same $10 board (without them knowing) with me saying "hey the going rate is $90 but I'll sell it to you for $80". They're happy to steal it from me for less than the going rate. But they'd have never bought it from me for $80 if they heard I got it for $10.

Again, it all comes down to the going rate RIGHT NOW. What it was bought/sold for a year ago is immaterial.

Jesus people... SUPPLY & DEMAND... Look it up.

These aren't being built any more. If the guy who did them is to be believed (and I see no reason why not)... no more will be made.

If it's something you want. Jump on it. If it's not... why bitch about the price?

i didnt pay taxes when i bought mine for mike!!

Why don't you just leave the thread alone. Do you have a problem with the OP or something.

When you bring items into Canada you pay duties, borkerage fees and taxes on the value of the item.

Regardless of any of that, nobody is selling these for what they paid for them. If you find one for the original price buy it otherwise move on with your life.

cool np... very intresting....

just one question... you pay taxes on things you sell on klov?

We pay GST (Goods and Services Tax - 5%) when it crosses the border into Canada based on the value claimed.. If it is insured its hard to get around that.. that is why some Canadians ask people to send as a gift or zero value.. and take the chance on insurance.. I don't do that.
So the ship to me would have been more than US shipped to begin with, the exchange at the time would have had our dollar less than yours, paypal fees on the exchange take another 3% to convert Can->USD, plus paypal fees in the first place (which are I believe another 3%).. So even without trying to remember the exchange rate, thats 11% in fees/taxes... which is nearly 390$ before shipping. EVen if exchange was 5%, we are near 410$ can. Also, if this was shipped via UPS (I cannot remember if it was), I would have had broker fees and other fees on top of the value (they include shipping as the total value).. which would be 49.70+$ PLUS about 10-15$ in other random bullshit fees, PLUS the original shipping..

So without going back and looking at all this (I certainly have better things to do), I chose a price that I think is fair and would probably (but maybe not even) allow me to recoup my costs. Not really necessary to defend a price, but I don't think some people in the US know how bad we get screwed in Canada buying something from down south from companies like Paypal, UPS, especially if its UPS only shipping and we don't have a choice to go usps. Our dollar is at 1.06$ and I think Paypuke is only giving us just over 1:1 or close when they take Can$ out of our account to buy something in USD the last thing I bought.

"just wondering" my ass - you are a FS: post cock blocker - I've seen you do it at least a 1/2 dozen times with your passive aggressive comments.
