I have a 60 in 1 multi and the issue I'm having is if I leave game on, after a couple hours, the sound goes out. Starting a game does not help. Turn machine off and back on = sound. Does anyone else have this problem or is it an isolated thing? Is there a setting I have missed?

Step 1: Turn off the game.
Step 2: Unplug the 60:1 board from the machine and unscrew it.
Step 3: Take a metal or plastic garbage can (or dumpster) and toss it in there.
Step 4: Go to phoenixarcade.com and go to the art page, and order an ArcadeSD.
Enjoy. :)

That was an assclown post, Jr.

Mochaman, never heard of that issue. Maybe reseat the edge connector? That is a very odd issue...

I haven't noticed that issue either, but then again I don't keep the 60-in-1 on for hours on end.. I'll have to pay close attention next time we have a little party out in the garage. That's the only time I usually have all the games running.

It does seem odd that it works for a few hours then drops out like that.. No idea what so ever on why that happens.

turn a fan on and run it on high pointed at your board, with the backdoor off, leave it on for a couple of hours and see if it still does it. Maybe it's getting hot and can't handle it.

this wouldn't be the first 60 in 1 that had issues. I've only had 2 (both from kingsley) that had issues.

Thanks for the replies. Will try ideas except tossing it in the trash because that is just stupid. Will post any results.

Way to be a jerk.

When the sound drops out, did you check the 12v on your power supply? It's probably the board but you should verify voltages just to be sure when the problem presents itself.

I am not sure but I do think the 60-in-1 boards run on 5v only...

It's been a while though so I could be wrong.

This is surely not to be of any kind of help so I apologize in advance but the multi cade in the hotel this past summer where we vacayed had serious sound issues (dropping out, pitch issues, etc) and it was a frikkin oven in there. I second the temp suggestion.

I've had one of those boards that did that same thing. What it basically comes down to is the boards aren't the greatest quality, some of them have issues. Not really a big deal, though, if you haven't had the game on more than a couple hours.

I doubt it's a heat thing, those boards don't generate much heat at all.

At least i thought it was funny. Seriously though, what can you expect from a chinese made bootleg board thats priced to cut out any competitors? The sound on those are so terrible anyway, ive always had them muted.
