Picked up a free blackjack machine with a beautiful Vision Pro monitor in it that I was hoping to reuse for another project. Monitor is a MTG-2902SEF, which I've read is a copy of the WG D9200, but can't find much info beyond that. Trying to run a standard res game into this thing, but it always tells me the signal is out of range. Thought this monitor was tri-res and would sync up to std res games. Any info? Attached is a photo of my quickie test bodge which won't sync. Despite the red wires, I'm Inputting RGB Gnd and h-sync into the appropriet headers on the sub board and the RGB outs are on the CGA/EGA output.

does the sync have an on screen menu to change it??

According to the mtg-2902SN manual, it doesn't. And I can't even bring up the on-screen menu with no signal or signal out of range.

Syncs fine to a med res game. Here it is running my cruis'n usa board. Any ideas? If I did want to run a std res game, isn't there some board that'll step the res up? If so, can someone point me to it?

Never mind on the upconverter. Forgot I had one sitting at the back of the shop. This is way more of a pain in the ass than it should be, and I definitely see some loss in quality from the converter, but at least it's displaying.
