I picked up a Ms Pacman today, that was in a yellow PacMan cab painted black. Game plays MsPacman with fast mod on it. Screen shows "Midway" on the attract screen.

The Main PCB says "MIDWAY PACMAN" right on it, and there are 2 smaller pcbs plugged directly on top of the Main PCB. There is also a secondary PCB that is attached via a ribbon cable on a separate mounting panel.

This also has a RAM labeled "FAST PAC" on the main board btw.

I have no knowledge of Pac or MsPac pcbs. Was this originally a Pacman pcb and they plugged in some ROMs to convert it or something? Were all MsPacs like that or is this an oddball?

The cab has a Ms Pac marquee, bezel, and cpo as well.
I don't need this so I'm going to sell it off, I just want to be able to describe it correctly, thanks...

If you have the daughter board connected with the ribbon cable, it's Ms. Pac.

For the record, both main boards (and the two little daughter boards that plug in, sync bus and VRAM addressing modules) are identical between Ms. Pac and Pac. The only difference is the ROMs and the board on the ribbon cable. If you take the Z80 off the ribbon attached board, unplug the ribbon cable and plug the Z80 in there, the Ms. Pac board will play Pac-Man (albiet with the Ms. Pac graphics ROM). It's also possible to mod the board with different ROMs and kludge wires so you don't need the ribbon cable attached board to play Ms. Pac.
