Hello,
I am trying to get my virtua fighter cab working. Monitor is out and initial inspection showed that tube was not being energized and the secondary fuse was blown. Searched the forums enough to locate two transistors that had failed. So I replaced the transistors. I did not swap wires on HOT (BCE all match schematic). I Have mica on the C3306. The D1880's sink in not conductive to collector and did not have mica. Powered up. The tube energized and displayed a bright white screen for roughly 10 seconds before both transistors and fuse shorted again. I did not have the pcb connected to monitor to test if game displayed. I have examined the board for cracks and lifted traces. I have tested many components related to the HOT and +B ADJ and have not found any to be bad. In another thread, I read Chad from arcadecup.com say that he has not seen any bad transformers (flyback?) on the Nanao's. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
