MS. Pacman was Abused....

I switched this auxiliary board with one from one of the cocktail machines. The cocktail machine was fine running what I though was the bad board.

Okay. So this is what the machine is doing at the moment. What do you think is causing this?

Woohoo! Finished the painting on the front of the machine. The sides should be no problem. The low tack vinyl stencils worked out beautifully. Very happy with the finished product.

My control panel is crooked BTW. I have to adjust it down on the left. The bracket on the left is higher for some reason. T-molding is on order. I stuck some t-molding I already had at the shop on just to get a feel for the finished look.

It was actually pretty painless to paint the front. The sides will be a bit of a hassle due to size but I'm not expecting to much of a problem. My suggestion to anyone painting the side. Do not make your stencils from cardboard. The cardboard wrinkles and gives you an ulcer in the process. Who'da thunk?!

When I paint the sides, I will not thin the paint this next time around. Thin coats and multiple passes. Before I laser cut the stencils, I will cover the cardboard with vinyl to keep it from absorbing the water from the paint.

I printed this from the same vinyl cutter that I used for the low tack vinyls for the Ms. Pacman black stencil. Good test for future.
Hmmm....

Looks great! :) I'm hoping to restore my Ms Pac this summer and I'm very close to getting the stencils which will commit me to going through with it. I leaned a lot about spraying paint while doing my Q*Bert resto, but it's a bit intimidating to think about how even more critical the paint job must be this time around.

I'm going to try to get the pink painted on tonight. It takes a while to do this since I'm making small stencils to make it easier to adjust.

Yeah. I did it in sections because we are laser cutting the stencils and our laser cutter bay is only 36"x24"

Sorry for the pictures turned sideways....

These are the colors that I am using. Some of the colors are from online sources. Not sure how correct or incorrect they may be.
