MS. Pacman was Abused....

I've been having a hard time finding Galaga at a low cost. I'm looking for a project Galaga that's local but have had no luck. I can find lots of other machine but galaga.

You should consider finding a cheap, converted Galaga cabinet, then doing a complete restoration, using reproduction sideart, etc.. Reason I say is that an all original game is often quite worn, used parts are common, the reproduction artwork is easy to find and very reasonable.

Could have been anything. The more forgetful the game the more likely.

Most people here can recognize them by their shape or some other tell-tale. There was an image of cabinet profiles that I found once, but I'm not having any luck on google now...

These are the other two machines that I currently have. I'm going to sell them off soon to get a galaga going.

What is this number that appears on all of these games. Is this the serial number?

Ooh. I've got another question. Check out the artwork that is stenciled on the front of this machine. Her eyelids are blue. The stencil that is available for download does not mask off that area making the eyelids blue. What is more correct or common?

Paint them blue additionally. I've seen both but I couldn't tell you which were more common? Anyway nice work. Are you selling the Pac cocktail??

Yes, that number stamped into the back upper left corner is the serial number of the cab. If you're lucky you'll find boards that match.

The blue eyelids are correct.

Oh, one more thing - your serial number of 3109 is relatively low for a Ms Pac Man - there were over 100,000 of these made.

Kind of makes my 5310 seem kind of young, I guess :)

Was Popeye a converted Donkey Kong?

Popeye's monitor is mounted in a different direction, but I believe that all of the Nintendo cabinets are basically the same (major exception being the widebody Mario Bros.)

But those Nintendo cabinets were not originally painted -- some people restore them now by painting them, but it aint 'original'

Actually, the Ms. Pacman with the low number on it is actually Pacman that has been convertered. This is the converted machine...

This machine is the one I brought home tonight. It's actually a Ms. Pacman. Everything is great on it. Even the formica. The only problem is the blue is gone from the tube. I'm not sure how to fix this. The blue adjustment inside does nothing.

AAAAAAAaaaaagh!!!!

I plugged the Aux board next to the ribbon cable in the wrong way!!! I can't believe I did that. I hate myself right now.

The Pac should go back cosmetically. I have an original CT as well and I'm doing just that.
I could tell the first CT in the pic was a converted Pac due to the single coin door and the repo'ed Ms. Pac underlay not fitting quite right under the glass by the CP. Both are nice looking machines!
I just gave away a remote board for free two days ago-- had I known you're in need of one.....

OBTW, you can just get Mark Spaeth's 6-Pac board and put it in either cocktail and you'd have all three versions of Pac/Ms. Pac via menu system. That's what I've been running the last few years with no troubles. His username HudsonArcade here on the forums.

The board that plugs into the main board that sits over the speed chip is the one that I plugged in wrong. Is that the remote board? I was calling it the auxilliary board.

VRAM addresser or the other PCB? I know that HudsonArcade sell those too, either individually or a set, PM him...
