Mr. Millikan did a great job today! He even took the time to show me how how he trouble shot this & repaired it right in front of me. Also showed me how to pull a chip and socket in less than five minutes...wow. F1 turned out to be the culprit with leg 10 showing an incorrect reading. Thanks again Dick! I should have all the parts for the monitor rebuild from Bob Roberts on Monday along with parts to fix the joystick & a new power cord (this one is trashed). I'll post again after the monitor surgery.

Glad you got it fixed. I have learned a lot from Mr. Millikan. He has always taken the time to explain what the issue is and what he is doing (even though I dont always understand it the first time ).

Hey I have a GO7 that is doing the same thing with a 60 in 1. I have adjusted it about 60 times. No good. Think a re cap will work? I want this galaga to work 100%

Like you were about an 8039 having an internal ROM? That's an 8049.

G07... There are some resistors that may be incorrect on your chassis. Also, there's a sync mod that will fix that too. You need to do both for a 48 in 1 or a 60 in 1 or you'll have a bend on the right side of the screen.

The CPU on a mario bros isn't a 8039, and it does have an internal ROM.
