anyone ever do this? how did it turn out? i saw some on fe-bay for 250.00, included the kick panel. looks like it would be hard to install. ed

I think www.phoenixarcade.com did this, and yes it does seem like it would be hard to install. I would think you would need to get the sides perfectly sanded and uniform to prevent any imperfections from showing through.

With that being said, I"m sure a ton of guys have bought it and done this process and been happy with it. It is beautiful art.

If and when the time comes i will be doing this to mine. I went through ll the trouble to sand mine down leaving enough left to go off of, masled it all off except the blue area and painted, thats as far as i ever got lol.

I used the full kit from phoenixarcade.com on mine, along with their marquee and CPO. All absolute top-notch repros. I sanded and primed it first so the old artwork wouldn't show through. Looks really good.

I did that on a Pac and had great results finish-wise with the exception of the front graphic location. Preparation is the key and installation isn't as difficult as you'd expect, I always use the dry method. I also wrapped the front art into the vertical corners and outward on the small 1/2" side projections instead of painting and trimming, it's a higher degree of difficulty but with better results:
