Hey everyone. Been out of the loop for a while, but I just got back in town and am trying to help him fix a beautiful MS Pac cocktail machine with a garbled pic and just a hum for audio. We replaced all the bad capacitors and the flyback as well as the horizontal output transistor on the tv board as they were all bad. We also replaced the IC 0300-U7 on the auxiliary board with a universal replacement but are thinking of getting an actual replacement. Any thoughts? There is a picture attached.
Thanks,
jason

monitors working pcb is broke. Take the pcb and clean those big daughter board sockets see what happens.

Thanks Matt. We tried that and it gave us no change. Granted, this is Arizona and we don't have many corrosion issues here due to the dry climate. Any other thoughts? I do appreciate the help.

type of monitor will certainly help. lifetime (mine and functionally working in the business), I've only ever seen G07s in Pacs.

I've seen multi images on 4600s however.

your game looks like it's not actually running however. the socket that the daughterboard plugs into is where the CPU would normally go on a regular Pac-Man -- extract the CPU off the daughterboard and plug it directly into the socket instead. if your game works again as regular Pac-Man with minor color palette issues, you have a bad ribbon cable to the daughterboard.

Awesome guys. Thanks. Gonna try your suggestions today....

now I'm willing to cough up some green

None of that did much, then I think I found the problem. IC 3N has been replaced and the soldering is terrible with trace and pad damage. I'd like to send this board to someone for repair if interested, depending on total cost. The pic is attached. The tv chassis is a GO7. Can anyone give me a rough idea what it might run and who might do it? Thanks, j

Mikesarcade does total pacman pcb repairs for about 125$ there's other forum members too here but you're in the right place. Get some quotes but imo i wouldn't spend over 125$ for repairs as you can get somewhat lucky and score a working ms pac pcb for like $50-100

Agreed. Members routinely sell working Pac/Ms Pacs for ~$85 shipped.

Thanks gentlemen. I appreciate the help once again.
