Hi all! I just picked up a Ms. Pacman mini cabaret for $100. It needs a lot of work, such as a new marque, cpo, cap kit and new locks and keys.

The monitor in it came from a poker machine by the looks of it. I can see the burn in from the cards on the monitor.

I'll have pics as soon as my buddy comes over to help me bring it in to the house.

Here are the pics of the machine. As you can see, there is a lot of work to do on this one.

For $100 that is a heck of a buy. I don't have any mini's... I'd love to have one. I have the perfect spot for it.

Thats a damn nice machine for $100.

Amen! I don't even like cabaret games and I already have a Ms. Pac upright but I would have snapped that up in a heartbeat. The marquee looks pretty bad and the CP isn't horrible. Does anyone make a CPO for that cabinet? Bummer about the poker burn on the monitor. Does the game work?

I bought mine 4-5 years ago for $775. It is in nice shape and I have never had a problem with it. $100 is a steal.

The games works, but needs a cap kit. there are some Jailbars on the right side.

I have to pull the monitor out to find out what kind it is. The tube says it is a Toshiba, but I don't recall Toshiba making arcade monitors, plus I couldn't find any info on the model number on the tube itself. Maybe the old tube went bad and someone replaced it with the Toshiba one.

pac-man.com sells the marques and cpos for these machines. I never bought from them before, so I am unsure about their reputation.

The pcb says "Pac Man" on it, with a separate "Ms. Pac Man" board cabled to it. It has the speed chipset installed on it.

Pacman.com is Two-bits. They are the only ones who can sell liscensed pacman stuff so their prices are pretty high. Some of their art isnt quite right but on something like the cabaret art you might have to settle.
All mspacs used pac boards with different row 5 roms and the aux board.

Looks like it's in pretty good cosmetic shape to me, actually. Nice score!

The marque at the top is actually broken the whole way across, so I will have to replace it. I also have to sand and paint all the metal parts because of rust.

I pulled the monitor out and it is a WG 4800 series. According to the burn in, I can be a winner if I play Joker Poker. Now I just have to wait for the cap kit.

The machine has a couple old Coin Opperated Licenses attached to the back from SC and NC which are pretty cool.

A lot of work to do? How long you been doing this? j/k

That's pretty tame compared to a lot of projects on this forum so congrats! That was an excellent buy. You can re-cap the monitor or just get a new 13" with no burn-in. I'd opt for the second options, since they are pretty cheap right now.
