I got my Ms Pacman Cocktail up and running today bad thing is it only plays two player games. When you credit up it gives you two credits with one flip of the coin switch. Then when you push player 1 button it isn't responsive and if you push hard enough it'll start but only a two player game. I find this odd and annoying cause I don't want to switch sides while trying to play each players game. I've looked at the wiring and it doesn't seem messed up. I could double check it but is there a setting on the dip switch that'll make it always play 2 player games? Could the button be messed up? Seems like a odd problem to me.

Sound to me like the wiring is wrong on the connector from the 1p 2p buttons. You should probably clean contacts by putting a business card in the contacts and putting slight pressure on button while removing card to remove dirt and grime. Hey its not the best way but it is much better than emery board.

Look at page 11 ^^^^ for the dips...I skimmed through it but it did say To Always put game into test mode to make any changes and verify the results before taking it out of test mode

This COULD be 2 seperate issues....
1) A bad 1up switch, or loose/disconnected wire to it....
2) Someone has changed the DIP sw settings to register 2 credits, for 1 coin pulse...

I would check the DIP settings, and swap the start buttons to check this theory....

Hmm I just switched the player 1 and 2 wires to test it both are still giving me a game with 2 players. I don't see any dip switch setting on the board about making it player 1 player 2 game.

Also I flipped both the 1 and 2 switch on the dipswitch to the on position to make it free play.

I found the issue it was in the harness. Connector bent down and was making continuity between 1 player and 2 player. Broke the pin in the connector while trying to bend it back. Least it was the player 2 pin that broke so I can play player 1 finally.
