So I am collecting stuff to restore my Ms. Pacman upright cabinet and I troubled by something. Is it my imagination or is the pink on the outside line of the bezel not the same as the pink on the CPO. I have looked at several different pictures or "original" cabinets and it seams that it is.

That being said, if it is a different color would it be wrong to try and restore it and have a custom bezel made to match the CPO pink color?

To answer your question, would it be easier to match the panel overlay to the bezel? Seems like any vinyl art place could make a 3m backed overlay with the colors you wanted.

I hate to just jump in this thread, but wondering what the op might be doing about t-molding. I'm doing the same restore and am probably at the same spot. I pulled the leatherette black t-molding off, but wont' be able to reuse it as it was glued on and just bad looking now. I can get the stock stuff from 2bit, or I was looking at pink or yellow (obviousy not original but flashy) from t-mold or t-molding .com. Their stuff only comes in lengths of 20. Is 20 feet enough to get both sides done?

What color are you going with OP?

Are apolo's color guides still accurate?

Anybody happen to know the size of the back door. Mine is gone I'm at work and can't measure, but I have a coworker with a woodshop, I hope to hire.

The pink on the cpo matches the side and front art, the pink on the bezel is supposed to be the darker wine color...dunno why.

20' is enough t-molding to do a ms. pacman cab.

I can't get to my rear door of my ms. pac at the moment, maybe someone else will post the size for you...

I think since the bezel is the pink that doesn't match any other on the cabinet I will create a new one and have it printed and sandwiched between some plexi. I think it will look better and I am also considering going with a pink T-molding to brighten it up too. The good part is I will be able to change the molding and put a more original color bezel in to make it more true to the original in the future if I want to.

As a bonus I will use a tinted piece of plexi in the back of the bezel to hide the screen burn and a clear piece in the front to show the colors with out the tint.
