The coin door wiring on my Ms pacman has been disconnected, I need to know how it connected to the main harness as all this has been removed.

Is the Molex connector still there, and if not, are you planning on just splicing the wires together, or putting in a new connector?
?

The molex is intact on the coindoor side but there is nowhere to plug it into the harness. There is a molex from the controls into the harness but thats it.

If the Molex on the harness side isn't present, then there must be cut wires somewhere. I think it is a 9-hole Molex, so you are looking for a bundle of maybe 8 or 9 wires that are cut.

It should branch off the main harness right about the same place the control panel plug does. Look in that area.

If you can find the cut wires, I have an extra Molex with cut wires I can send you, so all you will need to do is splice them together.

Right, iv'e found the wires but they don't match up colourwise with the ones from the coin door. What is the plug in connector fixed to the right side (looking from the back) of the cabinet near the bottom for as it doesn't appear to go anywhere?

Actually, Midway used AMP "Universal Mate N Lock" connectors on the coin door and control panel, not Molex. Totally different connectors.

Ken is right, of course. I just call them Molex in the same way I call facial tissues Kleenex, and copying machines Xerox machines. I am a victim of advertising.

The coin door probably came from a pac, galaga or something else. Midway changed up the wire colors at some point in time. Just rewire it according to the mspac wiring diagram and you will be good to go.
Does the coin door have lights on it?
