Ms Pac with "Hot Pursuit" button?

I wish I could find the Hot Pursuit kit with the Marquee. I suppose I could get the marquee off the guy I found the photo.

Ya that kit sat on my shelf for a while before i decided to sell it to ya.

I think I got it from Chad. If you never use it and sell it to someone you should make a list of previous owners and include it with the kit. :D

I couldn't remember who I bought it from, thanks. I actually pulled that pic from Chad's website, he had it linked to his original 'for sale' post.

It's easy to make your own with the souzaonline 4in1 hack and turning cheats on.

There was one back in the day that I remember.
It had a little circular button with 'HOT PURSUIT' in typewriter type under the clear button plastic.

Trippy, always saw the "Zoom" button in the wild:

Only ever saw that particular button on machines in California. In other states, though, I have seen the 'Hot Pursuit' button - usually in the style shown below with 'HOT PURSUIT' written on it in black block caps.

Guy in the video from a few years back said he was thinking about restoring it and seemed like he was going to drop his too. Thats a bit of a shame if you ask me. So many Ms Pac Mans on the planet, id rather have one with this odd bit of history than one that looks like a nice version of what everyone else has.

If you install the 4 in 1 pac from http://arcade.souzaonline.com/ when you turn cheat mode on, the player 2 button does the same thing as pursuit mode if you're looking for different game play. The player 1 button will also make you invincible when you press it. It makes the game different.

Mike Dolyals 96n1 kit has the same features that you can switch on in the dips settings screen.

Most likely a cheat like the Sega genesis version of Ms. PAC MAN also had a TURBO mode button

I was asking about the Doyle Kit vs the High Score Saves kit in this thread. You think you can break down the pros & cons?

https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=423993&page=3

I dont want to dirty up HS thread with a competitors kit questions.

I own both and they both have their pros & cons. HS kit is more modern and can run in stealth mode IE - boot direct to a default game. MD kit will boot to 96n1 welcome screen and you go from there. MD kit has 96 variations of pacman and some creative games using the original PCB hardware. HS saves kit swaps the color proms and show games like Pacman plus correct with green mazes.

Both great kits but you get current support with HS one as I dont think Mike is making any updates to his.

Just my .02

I recall playing a ms pac bitd that had the speed button but it was the type of button u have for player 1 or 2 on a cocktail ms pac. I only seen this that one time. I never seen one with a square button.
