Its a dedicated cocktail cabinet. The monitor is a 4900, I couldnt afford to get it 100% recapped but I had all of the bad caps replaced. Before this the neck glowed and the picture was a bunch of lines scrolling sideways. Now the neck wont glow at all. Also I forgot where 3 wires go to. I have attached a pic.

For the record I have checked and replaced all fuses. The entire cabinet has power just not the monitor.

Any ideas?

well, when I closed my eyes and looked at the dark picture I came to the conclusion that two of the wires appear to be the degaussing coil and the other one goes to the neck board. The monitor will NOT work without the wire that goes to the neck board.

Then again what the hell do I know, my eyes were closed and the pic was obviously taken at night in the dark under a shade tree without a flash.

Okay so the red wire has a sticker with v's all over it. the other wires are yellow and are located next to the flyback. Here is a better picture.

Anymore ideas?

The two yellow wires are your shift jumpers, and never needed to be disconnected to do a cap kit. There are two sets of 3 pins between the flyback and the adjustment pots. It should be obvious which yellow wire goes to which set of pins. Stick them on the middle pin for now until you get a picture, then move them to either side if you need to shift the image any.

As for the red wire, there should be a pin on the neckboard for it to connect to - most likely also labeled "V". Your monitor won't give you a picture without it...

Yep. Check your B+ and report back.

And if you don't know how to do that, use the search function or go to BobRob's site...
