I've been working the past couple of days, off and on, to clean up my scan of my MsPac mini art... I wasn't sure what to fix and what not to fix... I wanted to leave a few of the errors on it from the original paint job, but clean it up enough to where the REALLY bad errors were minimized...

This is a very scaled down version of it... the original is 8000*something... hopefully big enough to get printed, we'll see.

I still have to clean the edges up and adjust the colors (I think... not really good with colors... but these look about right to me).

Any sugestions?

I lied. I thought about it some more and realized that stencils for 6 colors for such a small area would just be a gigantic PITA, not worth it IMO. I'll just get a vinyl sticker made instead... but that brings up the issue of color matching.

I finally got someone to take a look at it for me... I don't think the colors were off that much, kinda impressed myself with that one. But, I think I'll want to order a CPO and match it to that first. Any sources for CPOs for Ms.Pac minis other than TwoBits? I would like to get the CPO made by someone else and hopefully someone that wouldn't mind sharing the RGB values for the colors on theirs so it'll match.

Again, this is scaled down... it's about 10% of the original file size.

that's what i would like to know as well - and then this color-matched front art! nice job, looking fantastic!

Thanks.

Minus the color matching, it was pretty easy (just tedious).

I don't have anything personally against TwoBits, but I've seen some of their work in the past (horrible) and I hear nothing but horror stories about their customer service.

I'm thinking the yellow is brighter than that, but it might look darker due to black showing through. I think I'd brighten it up a little, maybe try to match the colors on the bezel?

I've never restored a pac cab, but I'm with the previous post, color could be a little more vibrant, maybe 10-20% brighter, might be able to tickle the saturation up just a hair. Of course, this is off of an LCD monitor and that's probably a CMYK file.

Scucci, let me know if you have more than one made up and if you want to sell one. I am in the middle of a Ms. Pac mini restore and don't think I have the skills to use paint to touch up the front and have it actually look better than it is. BTW, are you using the woodgrain vinyl on the sides or something different?

Right now, mine has black vinyl on the side. I don't think it looks bad, but I'd much rather either get it back to woodgrain or get some custom art on there.

I have an original Ms. Pac-Man mini if you are looking for someone to compare your artwork to. Send me a strip with each color and I'll compare.
