I'm trying to figure out how to wire up my recently purchased ms. pac-man board. The board says that it needs 7v. The transformers that I have seem to only produce +/- 5V, 12V. Are there any options so that I can use one of these transformers that I already have? Here is my board and one of the transformers.

This is the easiest way to connect a switcher to a Ms. Pac board...

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the mod. Could you describe it a bit in detail? Thanks.

Um - okay. First, make sure the game is off.

Your switching power supply (the black box thing in your 2nd pic) has tabs on it labeled +5, +12, and GND. Connect one wire to each, then solder the other end of those wires to the spots indicated in the picture I posted.

Then connect the edge connector, turn the game on, and you should be playing if the board actually works....

I understand now. Thanks. One more question. The edge connector will have all connections except the voltages, is this correct?
