In the manual, ads, and flyer for Ms. Pac-Man, cabinets with slightly different artwork are depicted that I have never seen another picture of. Notice how on the front and side art, the most significant differences are the extra colored shading and black outlines on the stripes. It is a fact that the earliest cabinets had a black outline around the yellow stripe on the front, as well as the last runs with vinyl sides had a similar alternate design, however for the life of me I can't find another like this. Does anyone have any info on these? Were they prototypes or mockups?

California is a pretty big state, and I've only lived here for about 12 years, but I've never heard of "will share if needed", CA. Is that near the Nevada border?

Flyers and advertising typically had concept or non production art; sometimes hand made. From what I have read, the marketing departments were constantly rushing to get something together for the trade shows.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I have a hand made Pole Position II marquee on my Pole Position. The machine supposedly came from an Atari engineers personal gameroom
