I have a MS Pac-Man Cocktail machine with a ABC Super PAC upgrade and when I first turn it on it has small color dots that display randomly around the screen. After the games is on for a minute or two they go away. If I turn the game off and then back on it is ok. If I let it sit for 10 min or so they come back for a about 30 secs and then they go away. It is like something just needs to warm up.

This is a strange one so I thought I would ask the group if anyone has dealt with a similar issue and how they resolved it.

TIA

Kyle

I had the hardest time with getting my kit to work in the sockets properly. It took A LOT of pushing on the boards to get them to finally sit in the sockets properly. I had issues with the colors dots and O's for a while until I finally got the thing making good contact in all the sockets.

Before I got the things seated properly, even just the slight "nudge" on the joystick would make the boards lose good connection for a split second and glitch the game.

If I had to do it over again, I'd replace the sockets that the board plugs into with machine sockets.

I agree, probably a socket problem. Its really a poor design having the two sockets side by side like that. They should have went with something similar to spaeths kit that utilizes the side connector.
