Ms Pac Man Cabinet Styles, different sized glass ???
I purchased a new glass top for my Ms Pac Man cocktail table from Holland Computers. Upon receiving it the glass width and length was dead on but the corners of the glass were rounded a little shorter (approx 1/4"). Not a huge ordeal but in working with the representative from Holland, which was great to deal with, he advised that I was the first one he had heard this from. After looking into it he advised that he found out that the Anniversary machines had a slightly different top and asked if mine was an Anniversary machine. I advised, to my knowledge, no that it was an original cabinet. I found on the inside of the cabinet it is stamped with 2917 and has a sticker reflecting Part #M051-00111-A-001 but this information did not help them. My questions is, is anyone aware of different sized tops?
Although this was only a 1/4" off on the corners it was cosmetically noticeable but my main concern would be someone spilling something on it and the liquid would then run in between the glass and top.
My original piece is scratched and scuffed up but still very usable. I would like a new glass but perplexed about the difference in the sizing of the glass.
Again, the service provided by the rep at Holland was great. Very quick to respond to my emails and provided me a return label so that I can return the glass. Awaiting confirmation from them that the glass was received and to credit my account back now.
