I've had my Ms. Pac for about 6 years now and finally bought a new marquee for it. As you can see from the pics, the old one was faded badly. Although my cabinet is far from mint, its not quite as faded as most other original Ms. Pac's I've seen, which is nice. Next I need to replace the awful Willis(or whatever it is) cpo and then I should have a decent looking machine. Just thought I'd share...

New marquee is looking really nice...with a new CPO it would look even better!

Thats not too bad.

I've also got a painted Ms Pac cab. (Its an ex-op's personal machine). While the paint has held up pretty well like yours, my control panel needs replacing though.

Anyone know of any accuratly authentic Ms Pac control panels that might have fallen out of truck or something? I'd give more than twobits for one....

Thanks, its fun to do the little things. Problem is, I have so many damn games and they all need a little something its hard to keep up. Costs money, too. But its all fun I guess, and gives me something to do...

Money...Yes the dreaded word of arcade collecting and restoring. But you'll gradually get it done.

Looking good! I'm with you, I hate those cheesy Willis cpo's. The bezel looks nice, as does the original art. I never noticed this in any of your pics before, but do you have "squares" of carpet under each of your games? Is that to keep your painted floor from getting scratched? I'm probably going to turn my garage into a garcade, and your nice gameroom has inspired me to paint the garage floor.:D

What's underneath all my games is plywood bases with strips of carpet glued to the bottom for these purposes:

1. easy movement
2. keep floor from getting scratched
3. protect games from flood damage

I've had flooding only 2 times in 28 years; and only maybe 1/4 inch of flowing water at a time but those darn plywood stands saved my games from water damage

glad I could help inspire you; now you've inspired me all over again

Looks great. I'm always on the lookout for non faded Ms Pac cab. They don't come up often. Wu has Ms Pac repro overlays w/ Midway logo. Not as nice as NOS but definitely better than Namco logo.

Wow that is the least faded pink Ms Pac Cabinet I have ever seen! You didn't paint it?

Don't tell me your going to convert your garage over to the GorfChampion Garcade now are you?

No I didn't paint it at all; it looks better in pictures though for sure. It has some scrapes and scuffs but its also the least faded Ms Pac I've ever seen(not counting when they were new)
