i bought a ms. pac/glaga combo when they first came out (2001 i think) well as you all know the 60-1 multicade can be put in this machine pretty easy has those games plus alot more.
Question is what to do with it? should i leave it alone or swap out the pcb with a multicade? But then what do i do with the pac/galaga pcb? Does it have any worth selling it? Maybe altering this machine kills its worth huh? thxs paul

I just picked up a Ms pac/Galaga board.

Could you take a look, and tell me, how the P1 and P2 start buttons are wired?

Thanks
Mike

there are 2 sets of p1 p2 buttons, one for galaga one for pac on my machien. i think thats the main difference for this pcb to a regular jamma generic

That's what I was asking for. What wires hook to what?

Obviously something gets hooked to P1 start and P2 start. How do the other set of start buttons wire into the jamma connector?

Thanks
Mike

I think you should leave it as original. If you really want to put a 60 in 1 in you should hold on to the original board so you can convert it back if you ever sell it.

i converted one not long ago for someone...

Since this is a machine you play why limit yourself on games? Toss a 60-1 in it and keep the original board. Those 60-1's aren't super reliable and you'd hate for it to go out and not have the Ms.Pac/Galaga PCB to throw in it.

I have one as well and put a 60 in 1 in there, but have since traded up to the Arcadeshop board. You give up a couple of games, but you can have DKII, so overall I am happier with the Arcadeshop board, it was worth the extra money.

good advise, i may add a jump button but keep it as stock looking as i can.

looks like the galaga/pacmans are just standard jamma? so your 48/60 in 1 should plug and play and just experiment with games with one button now and see how you like it and if you like it then mod your control panel for another button
