Can some one tell me or show me a picture of what holds the top and monitor when you open the game up. Is it straps?

in all of the midways I have opened up, I don't remember there being anything, I just slide a chair up beside and rest the flipped open top on the seat while messing around.

I think the center of gravity with the CRT being part of it, would cause them to tip if they had a strap / hinge stop anywhere but all the way open.
