I was watching Storage Wars Texas tonight and one of the units had a Ms Pac cocktail in it. The guy brought it into an arcade called Barcadia and was told that if it didn't work it'd cost $500 to get it going!!! Then they switched it on and it was a multi-game board. The "operator" valued it at $1200! LOL!

Of course he would give a full retail price on TV. Why would he under value future sales and free advertising. If glass, CPO's and cab were mint it could be worth $1200. Hell an original PCB is $50-$100 and a Jamma adaptor is not a big deal. Pac games are the easiest sell to non collectors period even though they are not rare. However the Klov crew would never pay that.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

I just saw this episode last week.

When Moe found the game (a cocktail model), it had some generic top glass design installed that looked like grey pipes on a black underlay. As he was digging through the stuff in the locker, he found a loose Pac-Man cocktail underlay (unsure if repro or original).

Then, once he brought it to Barcadia, the machine now had a MS. Pac-Man cocktail underlay already in place.

It was also portrayed as an all original Ms.Pac-Man machine, despite seeing the multi game boot up screen...

I know most viewers wouldn't have noticed those details, but they drove me NUTS!
