Bally's mr & mrs pacman Pinball questions (stencil)

Ok, I picked up my Mr and Mrs pagan pin the other day and I need some wuick direction. The cabinet itself is a little rough, anyone know a place tp.get stencils? I found the color codes online, but I can't seem to find anything to make it easier to paint. Also, there is mylar on the playfield and a good portion of it is messed up. I know getting this up isn't easy, but is it worth trying? The playfield under the mylar looks good and I dont want to mess it up. What alternatives do I have? Thanks guys.

Also, the guy I got it from had a great translite made of the glass. I feel like this might be rare for this game. Id imagine I could scan it if it is needed. Not sure the rules on that.

I have one too... can you send a link for the color codes?
If you find stencils let me know!

I don't know where the site was for the color codes, but I copied the codes:

• Pink - Glidden Passion Flower 30RR 26/335
• Blue - Glidden Rhapsody 50BG 16/306
• Yellow - Glidden Sunny Side Up 37YY 61/877

If I was creative enough I would make my own stencils, but I have the creativity of a walrus. Any direction for this would be appreciated.

I think Pinbits has the rights to anything Pacman. I dont believe they allow anyone else to repro Pac stuff.

You're right, its twobits. I believe they are very protective of their rights to pac stuff so getting a stencil made by anyone else might not be possible.

--- I am so happy, I finally FIXED the display problem on my Mr & Mrs.
The 100's & the 1,000's were flickering or not working on all displays.
It HAD to be a connector issue or some such, right? Nope. I plugged each display into my Embryon to verify that they worked as they should (they all did). I replaced the MPU J1 male & female connector with .100 Molex to replace the original IDC type, checked grounds & all voltages & everything was within spec. I swapped U10 & U11 chips, I replaced the U9 6800 CPU with a known good unit to no avail....
Finally, after reading Clay's bible for the 100th time, I threw a hail Mary & replaced the U8 5101 RAM. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
Now the left upper kickout hole quit working.... sigh

Some of my pics...

dieseldogpi,
Per the private message I left... Most of these pics are of my MMPacman. One is of a Simpson's plastic I redid in Photoshop, then to decal paper, then on to a newly cut piece of Lexan. The side art and door are the abortion I made from not using a self adhesive backed stencil plastic, (there really worse than they look). Other than the "Pac-Maze" pics, most of the buildings and such were recreated from pics I got online. Most of the buildings and, the upper Pac-Man, (with the swoosh line coming from his body) and the red ghost were missing. I had a heck of a time with matching that red on the ghost, shoulda walked away that day!!!

I think it looks great. the pac-maze was a decal? I am pulling up the mylar as we speak. So far it is decent, only a couple of issues here and there, nothing major, and I'm more then half way done. Honestly, I'm glad I started before I saw the pics you posted, I might not have done it if I saw how yours was. It tuned out great, I am just dont think I woult have bee nable to handle all those touch ups. Speaking of touchups, if I touch up a small spot, do I have to clear coat it? There is just a small spot here or there, and I wasn't planning on clear coating the playfield. But I don't want to touch it up and it get worn off in a couple of plays. I'll post the pics when I'm done later tonight.
As far as stencils, how did you make them. I was thinking tracing on to tracing paper, then cutting it out as a pattern, then placing it onto large contact paper. I don't know what other type of paper to use, it needs to keep out the paint and stick, but I'm worried the contact paper will be to stickey and it will f' up the paint when I pull it up.

Sorry, mine was a total gut everything off, touched up, then clear coated used Ed Chungs rehab as my bible, the guys great. Actually no the "Safety Zone" and "Pac Maze" were the decals, everything else was touched up. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Edit: Yeah, I would clear coat anything you retouch just to be on the safe side. Start to finish mine took about 2 months, working a little each day.

If you're touching it up, I wouldn't worry about the clearcoat to be honest. If you start alternating between touch-ups and clearcoat it can develop into an odd 3D effect sometimes. Plus, the rest of the playfield isn't clearcoated, which will result in uneven wear and also an uneven sheen/gloss.

If you use good quality paints, and keep it nicely waxed with clean pinballs, you should be fine.
