Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man Pinball left bumper & slingshot issues (with video)

The left bumper sets itself off when the left flipper is used (about 1 in 10 times or so). Also the left slingshot will occasionally cycle 2 or 3 times when the ball hits it (should only cycle once). MPU is completely rebuilt and I cant find any bad solder joints that I havent already addressed. Any advice?

One of the slingshot blade separation's is too close, and the vibration of the rubber causes it to contact a couple times, making it fire more than the one time it should. Adjust it out a little.

As for the flipper causing the bumper to fire, check the bumper switch to see if it has a capacitor across the contacts of the two blades. If so, cut it off...

OK, I fixed the slingshot issue (you were right, contacts just a hair too close). Tweaked the bumper switch some more. I have it fixed to where it dosent register a score unless the ball hits it (like it should), but it is still popping occasionally with the left flipper. I saw what looks like a diode and a ceramic resistor between the 2 contacts and tried removing one or the other and also both at once. Removing the resistor does nothing. Removing the diode deactivates the switch (wont score even when touched), either way the coil still kicks the bumper just as frequently as before with the left flipper.

Any more ideas? Bad coil maybe?
